Three NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups, two District Councils and a County Council in the South West of England
Veritas was commissioned to work on a 16 week strategic project to mobilise a new contract throughout the county, with a budget worth several million pounds. The purpose of the project was to co-ordinate the utilisation of an agreed contract, integrating and synchronising all elements from the service to the staff.
Having successfully worked together on a previous project, the partnership organisations appointed Veritas to work alongside the Lead Commissioner and Service Manager to ensure the implementation of a new Integrated Community Equipment Service from mobilisation to integration.
Veritas’ experienced team of Consultants had responsibility for streamlining together both services, including equipment lists, and ensuring high levels of consistency between the two service locations. Through considerable and careful management and by implementing PRINCE2 methodology, Veritas was able to offer best practice guidance on project management, allowing it to successfully minimise project risk.
From start to finish, Veritas dealt with every element of the contract from sourcing and adapting building works and new premises, to transport, telephone and data lines and TUPE. It also had responsibility for ensuring that the new service was promoted properly, efficiently and effectively both internally and externally.
By providing project and board level updates to the senior management team, Veritas was able to ensure the succinct delivery, mobilisation and integration of a successful contract for the clients.
