As a patient-centred health and social care consultancy, we believe in providing effective solutions that maximise comfort and minimise risk. Taking that into consideration, we’ve come across a campaign that enables individuals to be inspired and achieve their healthy, active lifestyle goals.
A Staffordshire based manufacturer of custom-built wheelchairs, RGK, is looking to promote the benefits of staying active by launching The Play Life campaign. Comprising of ‘stay fit’ guides and an exhibition, the campaign aims to encourage individuals that have sustained physical injuries and a loss of mental health to take part in dynamic activities.
RGK will be launching the campaign at the Naidex Conference on 28-30 April, where it will be exhibiting solutions that cater for a diverse range of activities. RGK has arranged for speeches from inspirational speakers including Martyn Ashton, a former British World Champion mountain biker.
Here at Veritas we fully support the work that RGK is doing as after all, getting equipment right is what we do! Whilst encouraging individuals to take part in an active way of living is important, ensuring that the provided equipment is appropriate and comfortable is a fundamental aspect to consider not just in this instance, but all.
